Why hire me?
You realize it’s been such a long time since you’ve had your family pictures taken, and the old ones may even be missing a new family member or fur baby. Life is just so busy with kids activities and work. However, you know that kids grow fast, and someday (way too soon!) they’ll be all grown up and out of the house. You’ll want to remember those younger ages.
What I do
I create wall art and albums for families so that you can enjoy lasting, professional quality images of your family without stress or hassle. You’ll have professional and personal guidance from planning a session that fits your style in a pre-consult, all the way through designing how your images should look up on your walls or in an album. If that’s what you’re looking for, you’re in the right place, and I’m so glad you found me! I specialize in children, family, and newborn photography and offer both in-studio and on location custom photography sessions. For me as a photographer, my job isn’t complete until I’ve helped you do something with your photos.
When you contact me
We will first schedule a meet up to plan your session make sure that we cover the details. Do you just want a kids session in the studio or the whole family? Is there a place you already have in mind where you want your photos captured? A furry four-legged family member who needs to be included? What should you wear?
During your portrait session
I don’t have a time limit (usually, the kids dictate this 🙂 ) I want this to be a fun and laid-back experience for everyone involved. I want to be able to capture the laughing, the love, the connections within your family. I will get a few posed pictures at the beginning, but that is not my focus. I want to capture your family as it currently is, and more than just what you all look like at the time.
Around a week after your session
We will meet again for your big reveal! At this appointment, you’ll get to view your images and order heirloom-quality art for your home. Because this is your family, your “people,” and your memories. Share them! Good quality portraits will be around for your kids to show off to their kids, and generation after generation.
I have two goals when taking your family portraits.
1. I want to create lasting images with genuine connection and real emotion. I want you to be proud of the pictures, so you’ll want to show them off to family and friends, and on your walls.
2. I want to provide the best in customer service, from your first inquiry until your images are in places where you want them in your home.
