This is part 1 in a series of posts about locations for family photographs in Fairbanks, Alaska. Fairbanks has many beautiful places for family photography, and each location has many ways it can be utilized in photographs and it all depends on the weather, time of day, family dynamics, and photographer’s style of shooting.
Last week I was blessed with photographing a fun and energetic family with three toddlers at Chena Lakes in North Pole. Yes, 3 toddlers!! Getting them dressed, out the door, and kept up late got my respect. These Mom’s have a unique story of attending high school together, and then connecting after some hardships a year ago and are now raising their kids together. Their girls are less than a month apart and look so similar that most people think they are twins. They just go with it 🙂
Chena Lakes is HUGE, and these portraits were only taken in one small part. I love the birch trees and the water to keep toddlers interest in between the posed shots.
